The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and the United National Party (UNP) held another round of discussions today, which the Opposition Leader said he hopes will lead to a successful political outcome.
Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said the talks were “successful” and expressed optimism that they would conclude with a victory, signalling continued efforts to strengthen opposition unity.
Senior political figures including Ranjith Maddumabandara, Ruwan Wijewardena, Thalatha Athukorale, Navin Dissanayake, Akila Kariyawasam, and Sagala Ratnayaka participated in the discussions.
The meeting is part of ongoing negotiations between the two parties as they explore avenues for cooperation ahead of upcoming political developments. (Newswire)
