
Three students were hospitalized after a bulldozer from the Colombo Municipal Council’s works unit crashed into a school wall in the Borella area.
The impact caused the wall to collapse, injuring three students who were nearby at the time.
One of the injured students is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Colombo National Hospital.
All three injured are 16-year-old students who were at the school playground when the accident happened.
The 48-year-old bulldozer driver has been taken into custody, and the vehicle is now held by the police. (NewsWire)
