The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today issued a warrant for the arrest of former State Minister Diana Gamage, due to her failure to appear for a court hearing.
Diana Gamage is currently out on bail in connection with an alleged offence under the Immigration and Emigration Act.
The case was called today before Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali Jayathunga.
The warrant was issued as she had failed to appear before the court on this occasion.
An order was also issued for notices to be served on Diana Gamage’s bail guarantors. (Newswire)
