The Colombo Trial-at-Bar has sentenced Nowfer Moulavi and another individual to 12 years of rigorous imprisonment each after they pleaded guilty to charges linked to the collection of firearms and explosives at Lactowatte in Wanathavilluwa in 2018, alongside Zahran Hashim and other extremists.

Nowfer Moulavi had already been sentenced to 220 years of rigorous imprisonment in September 2026 following his conviction in the 2019 Easter Sunday terrorist attacks case. (Newswire)
