The opposition, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), has established power in the Seethawakapura Urban Council.
SJB candidate Sunil Jayarathne was elected Mayor of the Seethawakapura Urban Council in the election held during the inaugural session of the local council today.
The SJB secured a majority of seats in the Seethawakapura Urban Council at the 2025 Local Government Election. (Newswire)
