Three individuals have been arrested by the Mullaitivu Police over an unauthorised motorcycle parade in North, where a group of riders were seen travelling dangerously without helmets in videos that went viral on social media.
Police said the suspects were identified following an analysis of CCTV footage, noting that investigations took time due to difficulties in identifying the registration numbers of the motorcycles involved.
According to Police, the suspects have been produced before court on several charges, including dangerous driving and traffic violations.
