The Road Development Authority (RDA) has announced that one lane of the Kandy–Colombo main road near Bandarawatte, Puwakpitiya, will be closed until 15 March 2026 due to construction work on the Kadawatha Circuit Interchange and the 500-meter road towards Mirigama.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes to avoid delays. Vehicles travelling to and from Colombo can use the route from the Kadawatha traffic light junction to the Eldeniya traffic light junction via the expressway access road. (NewsWire)
