Foreign worker remittances in May 2025 amounted to USD 641.7 million, compared to USD 544.4 million in May 2024, according to data released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
Total remittances for the January to May period reached USD 3,102.2 million, up from USD 2,624.4 million during the same period last year, reflecting an 18.2% year-on-year increase. (NewsWire)
