
Sri Lanka has expressed its condolences to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia following the fatal Saudi Aramco helicopter crash in Ras Tanura.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism said the Government of Sri Lanka extends its “deep condolences” to the Government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia over the tragedy.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims during this difficult time,” the Ministry said.
The helicopter, operated by Saudi oil giant Aramco, crashed in Ras Tanura on Saudi Arabia’s eastern coast, killing 14 people. Saudi authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. (Newswire)
