Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Chef Chathura Ishan began his culinary journey in his homeland, mastering the techniques and flavors that define authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Over the past 15 years, his career has taken him across Maldives and Abu Dhabi, allowing him to refine his craft while staying deeply connected to his roots. Today, he serves as the Head Chef at Salone Ceylon, Bengaluru’s only restaurant exclusively dedicated to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
The menu brings together signature dishes such as Hot Butter Calamari, Breadfruit Croquettes with Onion Jam, Lemongrass Chicken with Green Sauce, Grilled Chicken with Mango Chutney, Jaffna Mutton Curry, Mini Coconut Roti with Seeni Sambal and Parippu Curry.
