Salone Ceylon brings the Flavours of Sri Lanka at 10 day festival at Pullman Hotel New Delhi Aerocity

Salone Ceylon of Bangalore, by Stanley group  and managed and operated by  Harpo’s Cafés and Restaurants , proudly showcased the rich heritage flavours of Sri Lanka at the Sri Lankan Food Festival presented by Chef Chatura Ishan, held at Pullman New Delhi. The specially curated menu received widespread acclaim from guests and food enthusiasts, earning accolades not only for the restaurant and its talented culinary team but also for Sri Lankan cuisine as a whole.

Celebrating the island’s rich culinary heritage, Farmers’ Basket at Pluck hosts Chef Chathura Ishan of Salone Ceylon Bangalore, for an exclusive ten-day gastronomic festival in collaboration with Gormei. 

 From the bustling streets of Colombo to the coastal kitchens of Galle, Sri Lanka’s rich culinary traditions come alive at Farmers’ Basket at Pluck, Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, in collaboration with Gormei. 

Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Chef Chathura Ishan began his culinary journey in his homeland, mastering the techniques and flavors that define authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Over the past 15 years, his career has taken him across Maldives and Abu Dhabi, allowing him to refine his craft while staying deeply connected to his roots. Today, he serves as the Head Chef at Salone Ceylon, Bengaluru’s only restaurant exclusively dedicated to authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. 

The menu brings together signature dishes such as Hot Butter Calamari, Breadfruit Croquettes with Onion Jam, Lemongrass Chicken with Green Sauce, Grilled Chicken with Mango Chutney, Jaffna Mutton Curry, Mini Coconut Roti with Seeni Sambal and Parippu Curry. To conclude the experience, indulge in traditional desserts including Wattalapam, Tender Coconut Panna Cotta, Sri Lankan Bread Pudding and other handcrafted sweet creations that capture the essence of the island.
