Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire at a house located on the Kalubowila Temple Road within the Kohuwala Police Division early this morning (15), police said.
According to initial investigations, the suspects fired multiple rounds at the house and its front gate before fleeing the scene. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
Police suspect the shooting may have been linked to a financial dispute.
Further investigations are being carried out by the Kohuwala Police and the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Mount Lavinia Division. (Newswire)
