Sri Lanka’s Department of Examinations has announced the schedule for school examinations to be held in 2026.
According to the timetable, the 2025 GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held from February 17 to February 26, 2026.
The Grade 5 Scholarship Examination for 2026 has been scheduled for August 9, while the 2026 GCE Advanced Level Examination will take place from August 10 to September 5.
The Department further noted that the General Information Technology (GIT) Examination for students sitting the 2027 GCE Advanced Level for the first time will be conducted on October 24, 2026.
The 2026 GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be held from December 8 to December 17, 2026.
