Ramya Sanath Amaraweera Wickramasingha, Chairman of the CBL Group, has passed away, the company announced today.
In a statement, the company said Wickramasingha dedicated his life to building not only a successful business but also a community rooted in care, integrity, and innovation.
The company noted that his vision helped place Sri Lanka on the global map, while his kindness and humanity touched the lives of many who knew and worked with him.
“He was more than a leader to us; he was a mentor, a father figure, and a source of inspiration,” the statement said.
CBL Group said his passing leaves a profound void, but his values and legacy will continue to guide the organisation in the years ahead.
The company also paid tribute to its late Chairman, saying his memory will remain forever cherished.
“May he attain the Supreme Bliss of Nibbana,” the statement added.
