Israel has reported a new wave of Iranian missile attacks, with the military confirming that multiple projectiles were launched towards the country a short while ago.
In a statement, the Israeli military said its air defence systems were actively working to intercept the incoming missiles.
The latest escalation follows overnight strikes that left significant casualties in southern Israel.
According to Israeli Army Radio, around 150 injured individuals sought treatment at the Soroka Medical Centre after missile impacts in the areas of Dimona and Arad.
Emergency services have been on high alert, while authorities continue to assess damage and casualties from the attacks. (Newswire)
