Sri Lanka has agreed to host the 14th Commonwealth Women’s Affairs Ministers Meeting (WAMM) scheduled to take place during the first quarter of 2028.
The Cabinet of Ministers granted approval for the proposal submitted by the Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs to organize the international gathering.
The conference will assemble Commonwealth ministers responsible for women’s affairs, senior government officials, civil society representatives and partner organizations to discuss policy strategies, exchange best practices and advance gender equality and women’s empowerment across member nations.
