Has your factory been affected by the floods?

If so, here’s what you need to do immediately:

⭕️ First, ensure the safety and well-being of your employees.

⭕️ Inform officials from the Ministry of Industries—SEDD, NEDA, IDB, or EDB—about the nature and extent of the damage. You may also directly notify the Ministry.

⭕️ Immediately inform your insurance company.

⭕️ Notify your bank without delay.

⭕️ Inform EPF/ETF and the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) in writing about the status of your business.

⭕️ Provide the necessary information to officials to obtain the Rs. 200,000 relief grant proposed by the government.

⭕️ Document your own preliminary assessment of the total damage to the business.

⭕️ Prepare a plan to restart operations as quickly as possible.

⭕️ Take steps to prepare verified, acceptable estimates for damaged machinery, buildings, and inventory.

⭕️ Gather the required information to access up to Rs. 5 million in support for building repairs, subject to proper estimates.

⭕️ Pay similar attention to the businesses within your supply chain that may also have been affected.

At every step, the Ministry of Industries stands with you, ready to support you through this challenging time.
