A special meeting between former President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Qi Zhenhong, took place in Colombo on Thursday (11).
The meeting was held at the request of the Chinese Ambassador at Wickremesinghe’s political office located on Flower Road, Colombo.
During the discussion, attention was focused on the political situation in Sri Lanka and at the international level.
Chinese Ambassador Qi Zhenhong also called on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday.
The meeting took place prior to Rajapaksa leaving his official residence at WIjerama in Colombo. (Newswire)
