A 40-year-old man has died after being shot by two unidentified gunmen in the Huludagoda Lane area of Mount Lavinia, Police said.
The shooting occurred on the night of August 15 when two unidentified individuals who arrived on a motorcycle opened fire at the victim before fleeing the area.
The injured man was admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim was a resident of Ragama.
Police suspect that a revolver-type firearm was used in the shooting.
Mount Lavinia Police are conducting further investigations to identify and arrest the suspects. (Newswire)
