Sri Lanka’s largest-ever lottery prize of Rs. 629.8 million has been awarded to the winner of the Development Lotteries Board’s “Kapruka” lottery.
The historic prize of Rs. 629,855,919.60 — the highest in Sri Lanka’s lottery history — was officially handed over to the winner today at the Development Lotteries Board auditorium.
During the event, the sales agent who sold the winning ticket was also recognised and awarded incentives.
Cheques were also presented to several other winners, including newly crowned millionaires from districts across the country who won through Development Lotteries Board draws.(Newswire)
