The President’s Fund has distributed educational equipment to selected university students, continuing its program to support higher education across the island.
At a ceremony held yesterday (18) at the Fund’s main office, 14 students chosen from applications submitted through Divisional Secretariats received laptop computers, with Rs. 5.8 million allocated for the initiative.
According to the President’s Office, the Fund has already provided equipment to about 30 students in 2025 and 2026, spending more than Rs. 9.8 million in total. (Newswire)
