The 18th Asia/Oceania region Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sport will be held in Sri Lanka next week.
According to the Ministry of Sports, the event will be held in Colombo on the 12th and 13th of June 2023.
The meeting will be attended by sports ministers or their representatives from 39 countries in the Asia / Oceania region, Sri Lanka Anti Doping Association, Chairman Prof. Arjuna De Silva said.
“There will be nine sports ministers attending, including from China, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan” Prof. Arjuna De Silva added.
The Sports Ministry added that the President and Vice President of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will also attend the event. (NewsWire)
