A 48-year-old has died following an accident that took place on the marine drive in Bambalapitiya on Friday(16) morning.
Police said that a three wheeler traveling from Wellawatta towards Kollupitiya lost control and crashed onto a roadside telephone pole near Jaya Road junction.
The injured three-wheeler driver was pronounced dead after being admitted to the Kalubowila hospital. The police further said that the victim is a resident of Hanthana, Kandy (NewsWire)
