Several shops destroyed in Maharagama fire

Several shops were completely destroyed after a fire broke out in a row of stores in Maharagama town this morning.

Four fire engines from the Kotte Fire Brigade were deployed to the scene and the blaze has now been brought under control.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. (Newswire)
