The Quo Warranto case against Jaffna District MP Archchuna Ramanathan, challenging his eligibility to remain a Member of Parliament, was taken up before the Court of Appeal today.
The Junior Counsel appearing for MP Archchuna Ramanathan sought a postponement on the grounds that the Senior Counsel was in a specially fixed case before the Supreme Court.
Accordingly, with the consent of both parties, the matter was fixed to be heard on 26th June 2025 and 2nd July 2025.
