
The Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL) met with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to discuss the development of Sri Lanka’s digital marketing and creative ecosystem and the Association’s plans for Digital Summit Asia | Sri Lanka 2026.
During the meeting, the DMASL delegation briefed the President on the Association’s mandate, its work in strengthening industry capabilities and developing digital talent, and its broader vision to support Sri Lanka’s growing digital economy.
DMASL President Arjun Jeger, together with the Digital Summit Asia Project Co-Chairs and fellow DMASL members, formally presented the DMASL Mandate, outlining the Association’s role in strengthening industry standards, developing talent, facilitating knowledge sharing and creating greater opportunities for Sri Lankan digital and creative professionals.
The discussion also focused on how industry-led initiatives can complement Sri Lanka’s wider digital ambitions by bringing global expertise and knowledge into the country while providing Sri Lankan talent, creativity and digital capabilities with greater exposure to regional and international markets.
The delegation also briefed the President on the evolution of the annual DMASL Summit into Digital Summit Asia, with the long-term objective of establishing a regional digital, marketing, creative and technology platform anchored in Sri Lanka.
Digital Summit Asia | Sri Lanka 2026 will bring together regional and global industry leaders, practitioners and businesses, with DMASL aiming to position Sri Lanka as an increasingly important destination for digital knowledge, creativity and industry collaboration.
DMASL expressed its appreciation to the President for the opportunity to discuss the Association’s plans and Sri Lanka’s evolving digital ecosystem.
