Russian Federation Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, along with a delegation, arrived in Sri Lanka this morning (03) on a three-day official visit.
They landed at Bandaranaike International Airport at around 10.20 a.m. aboard Aeroflot flight SU-288 from Moscow.
The delegation was received at the airport VIP terminal by Science and Technology Minister Professor Chrishantha Abeysena, Health Ministry Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe, and Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan S. Dzhagaryan, among others.
During the visit, the Russian Health Minister is scheduled to hold discussions with Health and Mass Media Minister Nalinda Jayatissa and Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath.
The delegation is also expected to undertake an inspection tour of the National Hospital of Colombo and the Medical Faculty. (NewsWire)
