The Department for Registration of Persons has reported another breakdown in its computer system, disrupting all services, including the one‑day national identity card issuance.
Officials confirmed that the system failure occurred today (26), following a similar sudden breakdown on Monday (23).
Services were restored the following day (24) at 11 am after technical issues were resolved.
However, with the latest malfunction, operations have once again come to a standstill, leaving applicants unable to access services.
The Department stated that efforts are underway to rectify the fault and resume services as soon as possible. (Newswire)
