Sri Lankan cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya officially opened the new DSI Premier outlet at the Galle City Center on Thursday, August 13.
The new showroom is DSI Premier’s sixth outlet in Sri Lanka and marks the premium retail concept’s expansion into the Southern Province.
Jayasuriya attended the grand opening as chief guest, alongside Dr. Kulathunga Rajapaksa, Emeritus Group Managing Director of DSI Samson Group; Kasun Rajapaksa, Group Managing Director of DSI Samson Group; Thusitha Rajapaksa, Managing Director of D Samson & Sons; Asanka Rajapaksa, Director of D Samson & Sons; and Pradeep Samarathunga, General Manager of D Samson & Sons.
The outlet was launched under the campaign theme “The Elevation — Where Legacy Meets Luxury,” combining DSI’s long-standing presence in Sri Lanka with a premium retail experience.
The new store offers a range of international footwear and fashion brands, including Puma, US Polo, Adidas, Von Wellx, Modare and Vizzano. It also features a dedicated US Polo shop-in-shop.
DSI Premier said the outlet also carries directly imported men’s footwear brands including Victory, Santa Cruz, Valencia and Royal Wings, as well as Jessica, a high-end women’s footwear brand, and AVI, a premium athleisure brand.
