The overall rate of inflation, as measured by the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI) on a year-on-year basis, in November 2025 was recorded at 2.1%, unchanged from October 2025.
According to the Department of Census and Statistics, food inflation increased to 3.0% in November, from the 3.5% recorded in October.
Meanwhile, non-food inflation increased to 1.7% in November, up from 1.4% in October.
