Two men were killed in separate stabbing incidents reported from Katana and Dompe on Friday night, Police said.
In the first incident, a 42-year-old man from Mahahunupitiya in the Katana Police Division was attacked with a sharp weapon following a dispute with another individual.
In the second incident, a 35-year-old man from Dompe was stabbed to death in the Mahapelahala area within the Keragala Police Division after an argument with another person.
Police said the body of the Dompe victim has been placed at the Gampaha Hospital morgue.
Investigations are underway to arrest the suspects involved in both incidents. (Newswire)
