The Hackvertising Network, alongside CreativeOcto, has become the most awarded first-time entrant agency at SLIM DIGIS 2026, securing six wins from eight entries for work created within just nine months of its founding.
The wins comprised two Silver awards, two Bronze awards and two Merits, achieved across multiple categories at the most competitive edition of SLIM DIGIS yet. This year’s awards saw more than 550 entries judged by a jury of over 70 industry professionals.
Entering the awards for the first time, The Hackvertising Network secured six wins across multiple categories, reflecting the breadth of work produced during its first nine months. Furthermore, with six of its eight entries winning, Hackvertising achieved a whopping 75% entry to win conversion rate.
For founder & Managing Partner, Shalendra Mendis, the recognition is a reflection of the thinking behind Hackvertising rather than simply the number of trophies.
“We started Hackvertising with a simple belief: that great work comes from being willing to rethink the obvious. To see that philosophy reflected in work created within our first nine months, and recognised at one of the most competitive editions of SLIM DIGIS, is incredibly meaningful. But the awards are really a by-product. What matters to us is building a team and a way of working that gives people the freedom to challenge convention and create work that people remember.”
Dilshan Mapitigama, Co-Founder, Creative Octo, added:
“Great creative work comes from challenging conventions and finding new ways to make brands stand out. Every brief presents an opportunity to look at the problem differently and push an idea further. Seeing that thinking recognised across multiple categories is incredibly rewarding, and a great reflection of the creative talent and ambition behind the work.”
The recognition reinforces Hackvertising’s founding philosophy, “Rethink Everything”, bringing together specialist capabilities across creative, content, media, technology and digital strategy to approach challenges from first principles rather than conventional category thinking.
Six wins at SLIM DIGIS marks an early milestone for The Hackvertising Network. For now, the work speaks for itself.
