The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs has called for applications from eligible travel operators to facilitate Sri Lankan pilgrims undertaking the Umrah pilgrimage for the year 2026/2027 (Hijri 1448).
Issuing a notice, the department said application forms are available during office hours from the department upon payment of Rs. 1,000 to the MRCA Hajj Account at the Bank of Ceylon, Hydepark Branch.
Completed forms, along with required documents, must be submitted to the Department’s office at No. 180, T. B. Jayah Mawatha, Colombo 10, on or before Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
Applicants submitting by post are instructed to clearly mark envelopes with “Application for Selection of Umrah Travel Operators – 2026/2027. (Newswire)
