Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) recently facilitated the Bahrain Cricket Federation by providing logistical and coaching support to help train its team in Sri Lanka, reinforcing its ongoing efforts to support the development of cricket among Associate Nations.
As part of the initiative, the Bahrain Cricket Team visited Sri Lanka from September 15 to October 1, 2026. During their stay, the team participated in various training sessions and played three T20 practice matches against local teams organized by Sri Lanka Cricket.
To aid their preparation, SLC provided the team with practice venues, indoor nets, bowling machines, and essential match-day requirements.
Marking the visit, Chairman of the Bahrain Cricket Federation Mohammed Mansoor paid a courtesy call on Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee Eran Wickramaratne, to express appreciation for the support extended during the team’s stay.
