Deen Brothers (DBL), one of Sri Lanka’s longstanding suppliers of industrial tools and machinery, officially opened its new DBL Tools showroom in Colombo on November 2nd, with former Sri Lanka cricket captain and DBL brand ambassador Sanath Jayasuriya attending the ceremony as chief guest.

The showroom, located at No. 332, Sri Sangharaja Mawatha, Colombo 10, was ceremonially opened by Jayasuriya alongside Brian Wei, Managing Director of Taiwan-based Rotar Machinery Industrial Corporation (TOPTUL), in the presence of DBL Chairman Najeeb Deen, Managing Director Faamin Najeeb, business partners and other invited guests.

The new showroom offers a wide range of professional tools, machinery and equipment for the construction, industrial, agricultural and automotive sectors. It also features what the company describes as Sri Lanka’s first-of-its-kind tools experience centre, where customers can test products firsthand before making purchasing decisions.

The experience centre is designed to provide customers with a more interactive shopping experience, allowing professionals, technicians, businesses and other users to evaluate tools and machinery according to their requirements.

Speaking about the expansion, DBL Managing Director Faamin Najeeb highlighted the importance of improving customer access to quality products while introducing a new approach to the tools retail industry.

“The new showroom offers a wide range of professional tools, machinery and equipment for the construction, industrial, agricultural and automotive sectors. It also features a first-of-its-kind tools experience centre in Sri Lanka, where customers can test products firsthand, setting a new standard for customer experience in the country’s tools industry,” he said.

Established in 1940 as a small family business in Matara, Deen Brothers has grown into a major supplier of industrial tools and machinery in Sri Lanka.

Over the decades, the company has expanded its operations and distribution network, supplying power tools, hand tools, generators, water pumps, agricultural equipment and other machinery.

Today, DBL serves customers across the country through a network of more than 500 dealers and partnerships with international manufacturers, including TOPTUL.

The opening of the new Colombo showroom marks another step in the company’s expansion, with a focus on providing customers not only with access to professional tools and machinery but also with the opportunity to experience products before purchasing them.
