Sabry Bahaudeen, Director of the Expo Lanka Leisure Cluster, has been conferred the Distinguished Industry Leadership Award 2026 at the Oxford College of Business Graduation Ceremony.
The award recognises individuals whose professional contributions have made a significant impact on their respective industries. Bahaudeen was also among the MBA graduates at the 2026 ceremony, held under the theme “Crowned in Knowledge.”
With more than 29 years of experience in travel, tourism and hospitality, Bahaudeen has held several industry leadership positions, including President of the IATA Agents Association of Sri Lanka and the Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka. He has also served on the board of Sri Lanka Tourism.
He currently serves on the executive boards of the Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators and Skål International Colombo.
Throughout his career, Bahaudeen has worked with airlines, aviation authorities, tourism bodies and industry associations, with a focus on strengthening regional connectivity, improving air access and promoting Sri Lanka in key tourism markets. (Newswire)
