President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has arrived in the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
Making a special statement, the President said the government has decided to curb not only underworld or organized crime in Sri Lanka, but also those acting as intermediaries.
“Curbing the underworld or organized crime alone is not enough. The country has come to this state due to intervention by intermediaries. We have decided to end all of this together,” he said.
