
Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has taken note of the situation involving a group of university students who have been staying for several days at a property in Malwana under the custody of the Dompe Divisional Secretariat.
According to the Prime Minister’s Media Unit, a discussion involving the relevant parties and representatives linked to the students’ demands is scheduled to take place tomorrow (18) at the Prime Minister’s Office under the Prime Minister’s patronage.
The statement said a decision on future action regarding the matter will be taken following the discussions. (Newswire)
