Police said today that 14 people have been confirmed dead following a landslide in the Kotmale area, while 21 individuals remain missing after a separate landslide in Thulhiriya.
Search and rescue teams from the Police, Army, and Disaster Management Centre are continuing operations despite heavy rain, unstable slopes, and blocked access routes. Officials said the numbers could change as teams reach deeper into affected zones.
