A 26-year-old passenger died after falling from a moving bus near the Makuluwa Junction area while travelling on a bus from the Galle Harbour to Udugama on the night of May 15, 2026.
The victim, a resident of Galle, was admitted to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital following the incident but succumbed to his injuries.
Police have arrested the driver of the bus in connection with the incident.
Sri Lanka Police said further investigations are being conducted by the Galle Harbour Police. (NewsWire)
