International Cricket Council Chairman Jay Shah and Sri Lanka cricket legend Sanath Jayasuriya have met in Ahmedabad, according to Indian media reports.
The meeting took place during Jayasuriya’s visit to the Indian city for the launch of the inaugural direct flight connecting Ahmedabad and Colombo.
Jayasuriya attended the event as a distinguished guest, highlighting the growing tourism and connectivity links between Sri Lanka and the Indian state of Gujarat.
Meanwhile, Indian media reports said Jay Shah is also expected to arrive in Colombo today for discussions with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
According to the reports, the discussions are expected to focus on governance matters relating to Sri Lanka Cricket, including the recently appointed new interim administrative arrangement.
