The Department of Meteorology says that mainly dry weather will prevail in most parts of Sri Lanka today as well.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, North-western and North-central provinces and in the Jaffna district in the morning.
Meanwhile, mainly fair weather will prevail over the sea areas around the island.
Winds will be variable in direction, and wind speed will be 20-30 kmph.
