The Embassy of Vietnam in Sri Lanka has pledged USD 50,000 towards the renovation of the Vietnamese section at the Colombo Public Library following the recent visit of the Vietnamese President to Sri Lanka.
An agreement formalising the project was signed between Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazaar and Vietnamese Ambassador Trinh Thi Tam.
According to the announcement, renovation work on the Vietnamese section of the library is expected to be completed in 2027. (Newswire)
