Mrs. World 2025, Chanita Seedaket Craythorne of Thailand, has accepted an invitation to visit Sri Lanka as the Guest of Honour at the launch of Mrs. Sri Lanka World 2026.
The invitation was formally presented during a meeting at the official residence of Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Thailand, E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, in Bangkok. The event was attended by Mrs. Craythorne, her husband and son, and National Director of Mrs. Sri Lanka World 2026 Chandimal Jayasinghe.
During the meeting, Ambassador Edirisinghe said the visit would help strengthen cultural and people-to-people ties between Sri Lanka and Thailand, while promoting cooperation in tourism, fashion and international pageantry.
Jayasinghe briefed Mrs. Craythorne on the Mrs. Sri Lanka World pageant, highlighting its role in empowering women, promoting cultural values and showcasing Sri Lanka’s heritage internationally.
Mrs. Craythorne thanked the Embassy for the invitation and expressed appreciation for the hospitality extended during her visit.
The Sri Lankan Embassy in Bangkok said the visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Sri Lanka and Thailand in the fields of culture, tourism promotion and international events. (Newswire)
