Sri Lanka Police have announced that the Colombo–Kandy main road has been closed between Kadugannawa and Ganethenna due to adverse weather conditions in the area.
According to Police, the road was closed as a precautionary measure owing to the risk of rocks sliding onto the roadway.
Motorists have been urged to use alternative routes until further notice. (Newswire)
