The Colombo High Court has ordered that the case filed against Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa in connection with the transaction with the Indian Krrish Company be recalled on May 29.
The order was issued when the case was taken up today (23) before High Court Judge Nadee Aparna Suwandurugoda, with SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa present in court.
The Attorney General has filed charges alleging that Rajapaksa committed criminal breach of trust by obtaining Rs. 70 million from the Indian Krrish company, purportedly for the promotion of rugby in Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
