The Walk for Peace commenced this morning from Dambulla, led by Ven. Pannakara Thero, members of the Maha Sangha, and ‘Aloka the peace dog’ a certified service canine.
The journey began at dawn following a traditional Sanghika Dana ceremony. The programme is being conducted under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, with logistical support from the Clean Sri Lanka program. (Newswire)
