The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has summoned Thusitha Halloluwa, the former Director General of Public Relations to former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, to appear tomorrow (07 May) for questioning over an allegedly defamatory statement regarding President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The Police said Halloluwa is being investigated following a complaint seeking a probe into his recent claim that the President had made a significant investment in Greece. (Newswire)
