Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who is currently in remand custody over the Krish transaction, was brought before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (03), with a decision on his bail application expected to be announced.
The complaint filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in connection with the Krish transaction is scheduled to be taken up before the Colombo Chief Magistrate today.
When the case was last taken up on October 28, the Colombo Magistrate’s Court announced that the order on Rajapaksa’s bail application would be delivered on November 3.
The court made the announcement after considering submissions presented by the Bribery Commission and the legal representatives of Rajapaksa regarding his bail application. (Newswire)
