The Sri Lanka Police has introduced a QR code-based digital platform to enable the public to submit feedback, complaints, compliments and suggestions regarding services provided by police stations across the island.
The new system, titled the “Sri Lanka Police Community Feedback Portal”, allows citizens to access an online portal and share their views on police services through a simple digital process.
According to the Police Media Division, users can select from options including comments, complaints, compliments or suggestions, provide personal details if required, state the reason for visiting a police station, and submit relevant information relating to their feedback.
Police said the initiative aims to improve the efficiency of police services through a people-centred approach supported by data-driven analysis.
Members of the public can also access the portal through the E-Services section of the official Sri Lanka Police website.
The Inspector General of Police has instructed senior officers and Officers-in-Charge (OICs) to install QR code boards for the feedback portal at all police stations, including reception areas and prosecution units, while also encouraging public use of the facility. (Newswire)
