The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of Iraj Chaminda Pathiraja, an officer in the Special Grade of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service, as the permanent Controller General of Immigration and Emigration.
Pathiraja had previously served in the post on a full‑time acting basis following Cabinet approval granted on May 19, 2025.
